My treatment room in Antwerp is located above the Stay Gold jewelry shop, situated in a 16th-century building near the Cathedral. My space is on the first floor, accessible via a staircase.

If the shop is closed, just ring the doorbell.

How do payments and cancellations for 1-on-1 sessions work?

Payment is due after the session, preferably via bank transfer or QR code. You may also pay in cash, but only with exact change.

Clients may cancel one-on-one sessions free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance via ellen.senang@gmail.com.

If you cancel later than that or fail to show up, the session will be charged (unless due to force majeure).

What if Senang cancels the circle or workshop?

If Senang cancels the workshop, you can join another group. If that’s not possible, you’ll receive a voucher so you can take the workshop at a time that works for you.

Registered members will be notified by email.

Absolutely! No need to worry—there’s plenty of space available.

IMPORTANT: My treatment room is located on the first floor.

If you’re unable to use the stairs, please send me a message, and we’ll see what we can do.

How do payments and cancellations for circles and workshops work?

If the client cancels a booked workshop between 7 and 14 days before it starts, Senang will charge 20% of the amount paid. The remaining amount will be converted into a gift certificate. Please contact us via email.

If the client cancels a booked workshop less than 7 days before it starts, Senang will charge the full amount.

The client will be given the option to have another person attend the workshop in their place. They must notify Senang of this immediately via email.

FAQ | herbal stamp massage

Who are the massages for?

For people who want to reconnect with their bodies—whether on a physical, emotional, or energetic level.

You don’t need to “know” or be able to do anything. All you need is an open heart and mind, and a willingness to feel and receive.

What should I wear for a massage?

It’s best if you undress down to your underwear.

That’s because I’ll be giving you a thorough massage of your back, shoulders, and neck, and that’s not very comfortable with, for example, bra straps in the way. I’d also like to mention that some of the oil might get in your hair.

Would you rather keep your bra on? If so, please wear a wireless bra so nothing gets pinched during the massage.

Wear clothes that can get dirty,

as the herbs may stain them, and I also use warm oil during the massage. It would be a shame if you had to put your best clothes back on afterward.

Do I need to shave before the massage?

No, not at all.

Do you feel more comfortable when you're shaved? Then you should definitely do it.

Is this an erotic massage?

No.

Nothing about my services is erotic or sexual in nature. Any inappropriate behavior will result in the session being terminated immediately.

Can I wear strong-smelling perfumes during the massage?

I’d rather not.

Please avoid wearing strong scents, such as perfume or deodorant, or use them sparingly.

These can affect the atmosphere and the massage.

Can I book a massage if I am under the care of a doctor, therapist or psychologist?

Yes, but it’s important to know that my sessions are not a substitute for medical or psychological care.

What are contraindications for a massage?

In the following cases, massage is (temporarily) not recommended or is only possible after consulting a doctor:

  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • Contagious skin diseases and fungal infections
  • Severe fatigue or burnout in the acute phase
  • Pregnancy
  • High blood pressure
  • Cancer treatments or immunosuppressive therapy (unless approved by a doctor)
  • Other serious medical conditions (unless approved by a doctor)

Not sure? Contact us, and we’ll discuss your options together.

Do I need to take a shower before the massage?

This is definitely recommended. It helps your skin absorb the natural oils even better. Can’t do that because you’re coming straight from work, for example? No problem at all!

What about getting undressed and dressed for the massage?

While you’re undressing, I’ll ensure your safety and privacy by holding up a towel so I can’t see you. Once you’re lying on the table, I’ll cover you right away. I’ll also hold up a towel when you turn over. During the massage, I’ll only expose the parts of your body that are being massaged.

After the massage, I may leave the room and give you plenty of time to get dressed in peace.

Can I take a shower right after the massage?

I wouldn't recommend this, as it allows your skin to absorb even more of the oil and herbs. Bonus: you get to enjoy the lovely scents for even longer!

Can I book a massage while I'm pregnant?

No, unfortunately not.

During pregnancy, physiological and hormonal changes occur that can affect the treatment. For this reason, I choose not to offer herbal stamp massages or energy massages to pregnant individuals.

If you still need a moment of self-care, please opt for a Reiki treatment.

Do I need to bring anything myself?

No, I provide everything needed for the massage.

After the treatment, you’ll be offered a cup of tea or a glass of water. This is because your body will continue to detoxify during and after the session. Be sure to stay well-hydrated in the days that follow as well.

I also recommend taking it easy before and after the massage.

What if I feel emotional during or after the massage?

What information do you provide in the questionnaire before the massage?

  • Are you currently being treated by a specialist (doctor, physical therapist, psychologist, etc.)?

  • What illnesses or health problems do you have or have you ever had?

  • Are you allergic to anything?

  • Are you taking any medications? Which ones and for what purpose?

  • Do you take vitamins or dietary supplements? Which ones and for what purpose?

  • Have you ever broken anything? What and when?

  • Have you ever had surgery? For what and when? Did you undergo rehabilitation?

  • Are you currently pregnant?

FAQ | reiki

Who are reiki treatments for?

For people who want to reconnect with their bodies—whether on a physical, emotional, or energetic level.

You don’t need to “know” or be able to do anything. Just come with an open heart and mind, ready to receive.

Do I need to undress for a reiki session?

No.

During this treatment, you keep your clothes on,

lie on a massage table under a blanket, and simply let this soothing energy flow wash over you.

Is this an erotic treatment?

No.

Nothing about my services is erotic or sexual in nature. Any inappropriate behavior will result in the session being terminated immediately.

Do I need to bring anything myself?

No, I provide everything needed for the reiki session.

After the treatment, you’ll be offered a cup of tea or a glass of water. This is because your body will continue to let go during and after the session. Be sure to stay well-hydrated in the days that follow as well.

I also recommend taking it easy before and after the reiki treatment.

What if I feel emotional during or after the reiki session?

That’s perfectly fine.

Bodywork can trigger emotions because it allows the body to release tension and pent-up feelings. Everything is allowed to be there—without judgment. After the session, there’s always time for a follow-up discussion and integration.

What should I wear for the reiki session?

Wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers. You’ll lie down on a massage table with a blanket over you. Some people like to be completely covered, while others don’t. It’s entirely up to you. During the treatment, you might get very cold or very warm, so this way you’ll be prepared.

Can I book a reiki session while I'm pregnant?

Yes.

Reiki can be used throughout pregnancy to ease every stage of the journey, both physically and emotionally, making the journey to motherhood lighter and more heartwarming.

Can I wear strong-smelling perfumes during the reiki session?

I’d rather not.

Please avoid wearing strong scents, such as perfume or deodorant, or use them sparingly.

These can affect the atmosphere and the massage.

Can I book a reiki session if I am under the care of a doctor, therapistor psychologist?

Yes, but it’s important to know that my sessions are not a substitute for medical or psychological care.

What information do you provide in the questionnaire before the reiki session?

  • Are you currently being treated by a specialist (doctor, physical therapist, psychologist, etc.)?

  • What illnesses or health problems do you have or have you ever had?

  • Are you allergic to anything?

  • Are you taking any medications? Which ones and for what purpose?
